Troll Records Co-Owner Nils Noa is back with a new Release “Floyta”.
Getting support from top jocks all over the globe at the moment.
The original is an organic tech-house groover featuring the flute-skills of Rikard Thomas. Matthew Dekay takes things a bit deeper and darker in his mix, but keeps the funk and the groove. UK producer Pedramovich takes on a more trippy route, adding more synth elements, that gives this package even an even wider impact.

Friday July 9 we have our next Label Night at Blå in Oslo. Matthew Dekay is coming over from Berlin to showcase his new remix for Troll as well as a bunch of new material that he is about to release on Cocoon, Cecille, Monique Musique and Connaisseur Recordings. Nils Noa will do a DJ set and Christian Sol will perform a live set. Music giveaways to the first paying guests!

“Musikkfest Oslo” or “Musikkens Dag” is an important annual event in Oslo for bands, musicians and DJs. A ton of free concerts all over the town, followed by amazing club events the same night. This year both Christian Sol and Troll Artists “Of Norway” are playing at the incredible summer season club “Fugazi – Ute”. Christian is also closing the night with a DJ Set after the Line Up. Troll Records artists featured at the first annual Extrema Outdoor Festival Norway!
For the first time the Dutch crew from Extrema Outdoor is setting up a festival in Norway at the beautiful location “Kalvøya” right outside of Oslo. Nils Noa is going to play on the main stage next to top international DJs including Booka Shade, Tiefschwarz and Audio Bullys. Christian Sol and Tobii is playing at the Sunkissed Scene alongside Carl Craig, Dj T and Sis. Make sure to buy the cheaper presold tickets, available at Billettservice.

Ministry of Sound comes over to Oslo this weekend with Yousef headlining the event. Yousef first came on everyones lips when he won Muzik Magazine DJ-competition Bedroom Bedlam. Now signed to Carl Cox “Safehouse” agency traveling the globe with his own touch on house music. Also releasing music on labels such as Cocoon, Renaissance, Saved and his own Circus Recordings. Trolls very own Nils Noa turns 30, so get down early. Sure to be a good one.

This saturday 27th of March Nils Noa will be playing together with resident dj Thomas Urv. These two cats have actually played together at Ploink nights in this very same venue twice before, 2002 and 2004.
Ploink has decided to turn the venue into a mayhem of some insane LASER ACTION. Yup, we love them lasers.
Of Norway’s Throned By Icewinds will be released on Troll Records in April. Release will include remix by Detroit legend Stacey Pullen, Nils Noa and Christian Sol.
For the first time at Sikamikanico, Geir, Dj G-Ha teams up with Troll Records’ Christian Sol in the DJ booth. G-Ha has been one of the most important DJs in Oslo for the last 15 years, and is still regarded as one of the best DJs in Norway. Christian will also perform a DJ set this evening. He is the co-founder of Troll Records and has released over 20 records on many different labels, and gets support from top level DJs including Laurent Garnier, Steve Lawler, Luciano, Ben Watt, Ian Pooley and many more.
One of the most talked about house labels of 2009 is heading over to Oslo this weekend. Nick Curly’s Cecille imprint will be show casing two of their leading talents, Alex Celler and Anthea. JE Haugfos and Troll Records’ Nils Noa also on the lineup.

As part of globe touring electronic collective 2020 Soundsystem, Ralph Lawson could certainly be credited as responsible for putting Leeds on the house music map, Running a label and club with a penchant for everything from Chicago house to electro-funk. The 2020 Vision boss has been doing his stuff at Back To Basics for almost two decades, and with his tech house approach to being one of the most highly regarded producers and djs around, it stands to reason that he could do it 18 more.

We are pleased to announce that we have signed the track “Throned By Icewinds” by the production duo “Of Norway”. And yes, they are actually Norwegians. This is a beautiful and deep masterpiece already roadtested by a handfull of selected DJs, and the feedback has been amazing. Stay tuned for updates on the release date and remixers.

Label founders Nils Noa and Christian Sol have invited Dean Muhsin, one half of Bearweasel. They have for the last few years put out a bunch of songs and remixes on labels such as Tsuba, Classic and Viva. Their sound is warm, deep organic house with a modern twist, an they just did a remix for Troll Records on the mentioned upcoming EP.
This week – Thursday Oct 8th, DJ Robin from the well known Norwegian Duo “Trulz & Robin” and the newly formed project “Dance Disorder” (Eksimo Recordings) joins Sol & Sommer at Dattera Til Hagen, Oslo. Free entrance.

October 2nd, Nils Noa is once again playing at The Villa in Oslo. The Villa was voted 54th best club in the world by the readers of ”DJ Mag”. The first Norwegian club ever to hit the top 100.
UK based dj and producer Simon Baker (Cocoon Rec, 2020 Vision) will make his debut gig in Norway when he takes on the wheels of steel at Indigo in Oslo. September 12th Nils Noa and Christian Sol will play alongside UK DJ & Producer Burnski when he does his Norwegian debut at Sikamikanico in Oslo. Sikamikanico has been a venue famous for booking DJs before they go large. Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela and Paul Woolford among others have graced the decks there in the past.
